Chelsea enjoyed a fantastic run of form under their new manager Thomas Tuchel as they managed to beat the defensive fort of Atletico Madrid. Chelsea showed strong character and game awareness as they eased past Atletico 3-0 to secure their champions league quarter-final berth.

Although Chelsea has been enjoying a tremendous form they had a reality check when they were mercilessly beaten by Big Sam’s West Brom in their last game. A first-half red card to the Brazilian central defender Thiago Silva created a vacuum in their defense which was pretty much exposed by West Brom’s attackers. A first and second-half brace by Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson seal the deal for them as the final scoreline was 5-2.
