Frank Lampard doubts that the situation at Chelsea will improve quickly next season.
“The Premier League is developing quickly. All teams are becoming better. There are such clubs as Newcastle, Brighton, Aston Villa, and now they also need to be taken into account.
My football experience tells me that if you switch it off, it is not easy to switch it on. This is not always possible to do quickly.
It is not going to be my responsibility next season, but from my experience in a stable club, the moments you do switch off become very hard to switch it on. This will be the test next season,” Lampard said.
