Real Madrid have set their sights on the transfer of Kylian Mbappé in the summer of 2024.
According to Relevo, the Frenchman apologized to Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez for refusing to move to the Spanish club as a free agent at the last moment last summer and extended his contract with PSG.
Pérez accepted the footballer’s apology on the day when he informed him that he was staying in Paris, and the player’s further behavior made the president of the Whites optimistic about the possible transfer. Pérez is determined to do everything so that the transfer finally takes place in 2024.
Mbappé has extended his contract with Parisians until the summer of 2024 with the option to extend it for another year. Madrid is confident that Kylian will be available to be signed for free, since an option won’t be activated by the player. Contacts between the club and the player through intermediaries give Real Madrid this feeling.
As for signing Erling Haaland from Manchester City, it’s considered almost impossible. Apart from that, the Norwegian striker is listed in Real Madrid lower than Mbappé.
Pérez wants to unite Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo and Mbappé in the team, he considers them the three best strikers at the moment that have the greatest future in world football. Thus, Mbappé is the top target, not just the desire or dream of the Real Madrid management.
