Raheem Sterling’s house was robbed the day before the match of the England team at the 2022 World Cup.

The footballer’s family was at home when armed robbers broke in, as it was reported by Evening Standard journalist Nizaar Kinsella. It happened on Saturday evening.

After learning of this, Sterling was shocked. As soon as he was informed about the robbery, he wanted to go home to check if his three children were okay.

Sterling wants to prove himself at the 2022 World Cup. He left the base of the team only because he worried about his children. Sterling’s fiancee Paige Millien was also at home.

According to The Sun, the criminals stole £300k of watches.

“It was just awful for Paige and it was really traumatic for the whole family. Raheem was frantic with worry when he found out about it. Imagine what it is like to be so far away when armed robbers break into your house, and your girlfriend and children are there at that moment.

Apparently, watches worth £300,000 were stolen. The police spent several hours there,” the source of The Sun said.

Sterling appeared in the start in the first two matches at the 2022 World Cup. He scored a goal and provided a goal pass. During the match against Wales (3-0), he was on the subs bench.
