Barcelona head coach Xavi commented on the possible return of Lionel Messi from PSG.
“I have said many times that our doors are always open for him. I am a coach and I know that he will help us if he decides to return.
I think that he is able to play at the highest level. If he wants to join us, the doors are open. We all want this, especially the coach.
I have no doubt about the benefits of Messi’s return. I know that he will help us a lot in terms of football. But the issue of his contract with Barcelona is not my concern.
If the coach has to agree to Messi’s transfer, then I fully agree,” Xavi said.
