Jordi Cruijff said that Lionel Messi’s transfer to Barcelona depends on Messi himself.
“You should ask him about it. You know how everything works. At the moment, it all comes down to his decision and financial fair play. You should ask Messi. He plays for PSG now, and he has one more match ahead.
Since we do not like other clubs discussing our players, we will not do it ourselves. This decision is up to him.
You need to ask these questions to those who deal with the economic plan. If our club is trying to sign Messi, then we are able to do it. And when the player’s contract expires…
But we already have a good squad. We have many young players who are performing well now and will do so in the future. We have done serious work. We have one of the youngest squads among the top clubs in Europe,” Cruijff said.
